E. Guigal Saint Joseph Blanc

Grown on vines between 20-50 years of age, Saint-Joseph is a serious and excellent wine, with weight and complexity.  Guigal’s is aged partly in stainless steel and partly in oak barrels, and is fresh, round and quite elegant.  These rather special, full-bodied dry white wines are particularly suited for full-flavored foods.

“Offering more richness, texture and flesh, the shockingly good 2013  Saint Jospeh Blanc (all from the southern part of the appellation) is medium to full-bodied, ripe and downright sexy, with tons of fruit, integrated acidity and a great finish.  Loaded with notes of white currants, citrus blossom and toasted almonds.”       -91 Points Wine Advocate
